Bench for
public space
The "Re-Ti" collection features three objects: children’s playground equipment, road barriers, and benches for public spaces. These designs not only tackle environmental challenges but also transform waste into valuable resources. By using recycled TDM material, the benches initiate a dialogue about sustainability, resource conservation, waste recycling, adaptability, responsible urban planning, and functional urban design. They also inspire community engagement, encourage children’s creativity, and promote a conscious attitude toward the future environment.

The Re-TI benches are designed with a modular structure consisting of four or more rods and fastening elements, ensuring secure connections between segments. This modular design allows individual segments to be replaced if damaged, while the broken parts are sent for recycling, maintaining a continuous circular lifecycle.
Each bench segment can vary in length from 40 cm up to 3 meters or longer, providing flexibility in bench design and arrangement for different urban spaces. A single segment weighs approximately 7–10 kilograms, with about one recycled tire used per segment.
This modular approach ensures durability, safety, and long-term sustainability. By using recycled tire rubber and a low-energy cold-press process, the benches are eco-friendly, fully recyclable, and ideal for modern public/ open spaces.
The combination of modularity, recyclability, and lightweight segments allows for easy installation, transportation, and long-term maintenance, supporting the principles of circular economy while enhancing the aesthetic and functional value of public spaces.
